Dr. Herman Williams is a seasoned healthcare executive and consultant with extensive experience leading hospital operations, clinical strategy, and large-scale healthcare transformations. Over his career, he has served as Chief Clinical Officer for multiple for-profit and nonprofit healthcare organizations, overseeing up to 25 hospitals across 13 states. His expertise spans value-based care, mergers and acquisitions, performance improvement, and executive leadership.

As Managing Director of BDO’s Nashville Healthcare Consulting practice and Chief Physician Executive nationally, Dr. Williams advised organizations on strategic planning, revenue cycle management, and compliance. Now, as President of HW Healthcare Solutions, he provides executive consulting, expert testimony, and interim leadership support to healthcare organizations.

Dr. Williams holds an MD from Boston University, an MBA from the University of Washington, and an MPH from Harvard University. A certified executive coach (PCC-ICF), he specializes in leadership development and healthcare transformation.
