John Mentgen is a senior healthcare executive with over 30 years of experience leading complex health systems, academic medical affiliations, rural healthcare organizations, and medical centers. He has extensive expertise in strategy, operations and financial management, with a focus on driving organizational growth, strategic planning and service line expansion. A collaborative leader, he partners with stakeholders to enhance patient experience, optimize workforce operations, and improve financial performance.

As a healthcare advisor and consultant, John assists organizations with strategic planning, capital investment, and performance improvement. Previously, he served in executive roles including CEO, Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer and others roles of independent healthcare systems, national catholic healthcare systems and other organizations leading initiatives in facility design, patient outcome quality improvement, and operational transformation.
