Lloyd is a seasoned healthcare leader with 40 years of experience, including roles as Chief Operating Officer and Southern California Regional Director of Environmental Risk Management of a large hospital system. He specializes in High Reliability Organizations, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and facilities operations, with a focus on the physical environment. Lloyd has guided over 45 successful accreditation and licensing surveys and served on leadership teams for the startup, licensing, and accreditation of five new acute care hospitals.

Nationally and internationally recognized as a published author and speaker, Lloyd has contributed to the American Medical Association’s Journal of Ethics® and American Hospital Association’s Health Facilities Management Magazine, addressing high reliability, leadership, and environmental compliance. His accreditation compliance check list was published through the Bureau of National Affairs in D.C. , and his hospital safety policies were published through the American Hospital Association. Lloyd was invited to serve on the DHHS NIH National Advisory Environmental Health Sciences Council. He is board Certified in Hazardous Materials Management (master level)
