Sarah Couture is a collaborative and strategic compliance professional with decades of experience. A former frontline nurse and clinical manager in diverse settings, including FQHCs, pediatric hospitals, and SNFs, Sarah transitioned into compliance where she has worked with numerous healthcare organizations to assess, develop, and implement effective compliance programs. She has also served as a Board Expert or Independent Review Organization for organizations under government integrity agreements. Sarah’s expertise also includes HIPAA Privacy compliance, research compliance program development, and clinical research billing.

A nationally recognized thought leader, she is a frequent presenter and published author on compliance topics. As faculty for HCCA Compliance Essentials Workshops and Research Compliance Academies, Sarah teaches and mentors compliance professionals and students. She remains engaged with the compliance community through speaking, mentoring, and professional associations.
