Amir Emamifar’s career spans over 30 years as a clinical pharmacist, academician, health system pharmacy coordinator, director of pharmacy, and global health executive. Known for his collaborative leadership and metric-driven approach, he has held roles such as Vice President and Chief Pharmacy Officer at Temple University Healthcare System and Distinguished Clinical Scholar at Temple University College of Pharmacy. Currently, he is a healthcare consultant and pharmacy practice leader with ProNexus Advisory.
Dr. Emamifar has extensive experience managing inpatient and ambulatory services, clinical trials, investigational drug services, IT, supply chain, PBM, retail, c-suite and infusion pharmacies across healthcare organizations and academic medical centers. He holds degrees from the University of Oklahoma, the University of Colorado, and an MBA with high honors in healthcare administration. Additionally, he is a Wharton- Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics Fellow and a Woodruff Leadership Academy Fellow.
